Show Election Is Set By Escalante Knife-Fork Club Three new directors will be elected during the coming week by the Escalante Knife and Fork club, with the results to be announced an-nounced at the next meeting of the club to be held on Saturday, March 22. Nine members of the club have been nominated and ballots have been mailed to the members with the request that they vote for three of the nine to serve on the board of directors for a three-year period. Ballots must be returned by March 21 in order that they may be tabulated in time for the meeting on March 22. The nine members nominated and listed on the ballots are aS follows: Gordon Christensen, Douglas Clark, Parley Dalley, J. Clive Davis, Charles R. Hunter, Dr,. F. B. Parkinson, Morgan Rollo, David L. Sargent and L. A. Whet-ten. Whet-ten. The three directors whose terms expire this year are Rulon Knell, who is now serving as president of the organization, E. W. Southwick and Twain Tip-petts. Tip-petts. Other officers of the club are Ianthus Wright, vice president, Edwin L. Peterson, secretary; Stanley Bradshaw, C. L. Ewing, Dr. R. G. Williams and Mrs. Ar-Vila Ar-Vila Day, directors. The speaker at the March 22 meeting will be John Morley, noted not-ed correspondent, who will give "A Correspondent's Uncensored Report on World Crises." He recently re-cently returned from an around-the-world reporting assignment, and has covered many of the world's most far reaching events since before World War II. |
