A resolution adopted by the Printing Industry directors, has also been unanimously adopted by the Utah State Press Association. Associa-tion. It reads as follows: BE IT RESOLVED, that the Printing Industry of Utah is opposed op-posed to the purchase or continued contin-ued operation of any and all letterpress let-terpress or photo-offset printing equipment with the exception of ditto, mimeographing or liquid duplicating machines by any department de-partment or agency of the States of Utah. The industry feels that it is entitled to the same consideration considera-tion as any other branch of the manufacturing group and should not be placed in a competitive position with a tax supported unit of government. The industry is resolved to assist as-sist the State of Utah in every way possible to meet the printing print-ing requirements of all of its departments de-partments and agencies, and to cooperate with the Governor's Committee on Printing in making an immediate and complete investigation in-vestigation of state printing.
