Show Hurricane Gains Tourney Berth In Region Play-off The Hurricane high school basketball bas-ketball team gained the third berth in the state B tournament from Region Six by defeating Millard and Parowan high school teams in the region tournament last week end at Hurricane. The Hurricane team, finishing second in the Dixie district after losing a play-off game- to the Cedar Redmen, clinched the final tournament berth by taking the measure of Parowan Saturday night 56 to 45. The Tigers defeated de-feated the Millard high Eagles Friday night 65 to 43, and Paro-1 wan took the measure of Dixie by a score of 37 to 32. The Dixie-Parowan Dixie-Parowan game was close through out, and Millard gave Hurricane a .tough battle for more than three periods, only to have the Tigers pull away easily after three Millard regulars were forced out of the game on fouls.
