Show NEW HARMONY Wendell A. Mathis returned last week to Portland, Ore., where he has employment. He had spent a week here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Mathis. Ma-this. While here he took his parents par-ents on a trip down through Arizona. The young married couples en-Joyed en-Joyed a turkey dinner Sunday evening. James Dayle Neilson went to Salt Lake City Tuesday to have his physical examination for the armed forces. The heavy storm Monday eve-ning eve-ning did much damage here to fruit and shade trees. Mrs. Faye Debois and small son and daughter of Fairfield, arre here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Mathis. Also visiting at the Mathis home this week were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Perry. The M. I. A. held its Play Festival Fes-tival Monday evening. A large crowd attended and enjoyed a jflne evening's entertainment. Mrs. Lola DeMille and children of Cedar City visited here Saturday Sat-urday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Irving Prince. |
