Show Six Men Volunteer For Air Force Duty Five Iron county men and one from Washington county have enlisted this week for service with the United States Air Force, according to TSgt. T. J. Lopez, local recruiter. The six men will report at Lackland Air Force base In Texas for basic training. The volunteers listed by Sgt. Lopez include, Lamar E. Smith, son of Mrs. Ina H. Smith, and Keith Roy Harris, son of Mrs. In-gri In-gri Haslam, both of Cedar City; Eddie A. Bohn of Parowan, a son Harold Bohn of Beaver; Ronald O. DeMille, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin DeMille, of Parowan; Harold Har-old Victor Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Smith of Summit, and husband of Betty Jean Smith, and Richard B. Rogers, husband of Mrs. Karen H. Rogers of St. George. Their enlistment period will be four years. James B. Herod, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Herod of Santa Clara, has enlisted for a three-year period per-iod with the army, and will train at Fort Lewis, Wash. |
