Show H. P. Dotson, Grant Hunter, Ernest Brunson Released at First Ward Meetina on Sunday H. P. Dotson, bishop of the Cedar Ce-dar First ward of the LDS church for the past 10 years, was released re-leased at a ward meeting Sunday Sun-day under fhe direction of Stake President Elwood Corry, and Parson Par-son U. Webster was sustained as the new bishop to succeed Bishop Dotson. Counselors Sustodned Released with Bishop Dotson were Grant Hunter, first counselor coun-selor for the past seven years, and Ernest Brunson, ward clerk. Myles Walker, who had served as a counselor with Bishop Dot-son, Dot-son, was sustained as first counselor coun-selor to Bishop Webster. Howard Stokes was sustained as second counselor, Neal Carter as ward clerk and Elmo Orton as financial clerk. Mr. Webster, who has been a member of the Cedar Stake high council, is a former bishop of the old First ward in Cedar City, and has also served in the bishopric of the ward as a counselor. |
