Show ENTERPRISE Arthur P. Jones, chairman of the Enterprise Soil Conservation district returned this week from a trip to Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended the National Soil Conservation convention. Mrs. Jones accompanied him to the convention. Mr. Jones gave an interesting in-teresting report of his trip and the conference in meeting here Sunday afternoon. The convention conven-tion had asjts purpose the for-imulation for-imulation of a program whereby greater service can be given to the soil conservation districts throughout the country, and a broad outline was given of how the soil conservation program can assist in the preservation of national resources. Reorganization of the Enterprise Enter-prise Primary Association took place Sunday, March 9. Announced An-nounced as the new presidency, by Bishop Leland Huntsman, were Mrs. Nellie Clove, president; Mrs." Roselia Jones and Mrs. Rowena Melissa, counselors, and Mrs.. Mae Hall, secretary. Released Re-leased were Mrs. Darlene Jones, president; Mrs. Wanda Huntsman Hunts-man and Mrs. Ferrell Sorenson, counselors, and Mrs. Vada Terry, secretary. . The Enterprise ward Relief. Society So-ciety will observe the Relief Society So-ciety birthday, March 17, next Monday in the high school gymnasium. gym-nasium. A program with many surprise features and with a theme of "Home" will be presented present-ed Monday evening under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Marian Foster, program director. It will include numbers by the male quartet, ladies trio, and solos. Luncheon will be served following the program, pro-gram, under the direction of Mrs. Carito Jones. The final activity of the evening will be old time and modern dancing, under the direction of Mrs. Faye Barlocker, The affair is under the supervision supervi-sion of the newly organized Relief Re-lief Society board, Mrs. Irma Bracken, president, and Mrs. Agnes Ag-nes Jones and Mrs. Leona Terry, counselors. A plan to raise money to equip the kitchen .in the new church building was announced by the Relief Society at last week's meeting. The plan calls for a "gift line" to be on display, with items to be made by the members and offered for sale. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Clove and their daughter Mona will leave for Salt Lake City today (Thursday) (Thurs-day) in company with Mr. and Mrs. Arden Allred of Springdale. Mr. Clove and Mr. Allred will serve as officials in the state high school basketball tournament. Members of the Enterprise school faculty visited in Cedar City during the past week for the purpose of visiting the new East elementary school building. Prin- j cipal Thomas J. Abplanalp guid-ed guid-ed the group on a very interesting interest-ing tour of the new structure.' The ward Gold and Green ball win De neia in tne enterprise high school gymnasium Friday evening under the direction of the ward officers and the dance directors, Mrs. Jeannine Holt and Boyd Barlow. A floor show will be a feature of the evening's entertainment. Adult education classes are being be-ing conducted here weekly. Mrs. McBain of the Dixie college faculty fac-ulty teaches a class in advanced sewing and tailoring each Thursday Thurs-day evening.
