However, at 7:30 a.m. unlike most families, all seven members of the family head for seven different schools in seven different directions. Katie, 21, goes to Weber State; Amber, 18, a senior, attends Viewmont High School; John is a ninth grader at Bountiful Junior High School; Jami, 7, is enrolled in second grade at Hannah Holbrook Elementary and Jessi, 5, spends kindergarten at Jenny P. Stewart Elementary School. Even though the process of getting an education for the Muna family spans across all levels of schooling and stretches from Ogden through Centerville to Bountiful, the unique part of their story is that it doesn't stop with the children. Mitri Muna is a teacher at Millcreek Junior High School and his wife, Jane Muna is principal of Mueller Park Junior High School. |
