Show ' ABOQY0OOV $$r- J F The Bountiful High School Mandonelles took number one in the state drill team competition for 3A schools Feb. 1 6 in Springville, Utah. The energetic and vivacious team accumulated more points than any of the 23 schools that they competed with, which gave them the victory title, state champs. Madonelles advisor, Jan Whittaker said that the girls worked hard at becoming state champs. Its no wonder the Madonelles took first, they practice year round for three hours a day and four hours on Saturday. They deserved to win, they're totally committed to excellence, said Whittaker. This is the fifth fif-th year in a row for the Madonelles to take state. In April, they will go to the national drill team competition competi-tion in Anaheim, Cal. ' ' l ft it :: . i i 1 - - i Clearfield has most students FARMINGTON Clearfield High School has more students enrolled than any other high school is Davis County with a grand total of 2,127, the Davis County School District has reported. Layton High comes in second in the district with 2, 060 and Davis High is in third with 1,820 students. Viewmont High has 1,664 and Wood Cross High has 1,255 students enrolled.
