Show Screenings by appointment FARMINGTON Parents are often concerned about whether or not their children are developing at a normal rate. They often wonder what can be done if a child's development de-velopment seems to be lagging behind that of his peers. Davis School District provides a wide range of services for children who have significant disabilities. The Early Intervention Program provides services for children zero through three and the Preschool Program for children three through five. Eligibility for these programs, which are provided at no cost to parents, is determined through an assessment process also provided at no cost. Children are initially screened to determine the likelihood of qualification for the program. Further assessment is done if screening indicates a likelihood that the child is eligible for services. Concerned parents can arrange for a screening appointment by calling call-ing 451-5071. Screening will be done Wednesday in Bountiful and Friday in Clearfield at the Health Department Clinics by a team from Davis County Department of Public Health and Davis School District |
