The eight-hour course teaches you a better way to drive in a program pro-gram that's strong, incisive and memorable. You learn to recognize a hazard, understand the appropriate defense, and act correctly in time-in bad weather, on country roads, on rush-hour expressways, ex-pressways, on urban sidestreets, with pedestrians, with cyclists and with fixed objects. Drivers who successfully complete the course receive a 50-point reduction reduc-tion off their Utah driving records, one time during any three year period. Individuals 55 years of age and older may qualify for insurance discounts after completing the course.
