Show Bull rider places fourth in rodeo The NIRA College National Finals will be held June 13-19 in Bozeman, Mont. DesiRae Potter, Loa, SUSC's Rodeo Queen, will represent the college there at the Miss College Rodeo contest. CEDAR CITY -Southern Utah State College freshman Neal Whitney won fourth-place honors in bull riding in National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association competition conducted this weekend at Boise State College. Whitney, a general education major at SUSC, is a 1981 graduate of Cedar High School. He represented CHS in bull and saddle bronc riding at the Utah State High School Rodeo Finals. The SUSC freshman is the son of Richard and Marion Whitney of Cedar City. SUSC will host its annual NIRA Rodeo April 30 and May 1 as part of Wild West Week activities. ac-tivities.
