Show Clarence C. Corbridge o Jk CLARENCE C . CORBR1DGE, SR., 82, died April 4, 1982, in the Valley View Medical Center, Cedar City. He was born Sept. 12, 1899. in Minersville to William and Hannah Alice Cornlord Cor-bridge. Cor-bridge. He married Wanda LaBerta Evans on Jan. 5, 1922 in Beaver. The marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on May 26, 1950. His wife died Jan. 20, 1981, and a son Berdell preceded them in death. He was a trackman for the Union Pacific Railroad. He a was a very active member of the LDS Church, working in various organizations. He loved genealogy and was the instructor for 12 years in the Minersville Ward. Survivors include one son and two daughters: Clair Jr. of Cedar City, '. Yvonne Luttrell of Las Vegas, Nev. and LaBerta Richardson of Cedar City; 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and I sister: Alveretta Robinson of Draper, Utah. Funeral services were April 7 at 1 p.m. in the Minersville LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Ross Marshall officiating. Prayers were offered by Craig Stocks, Jan Whitehead and Kent Whitescl. Speakers included in-cluded Kenneth Marshall. Mar-shall. Loraine Holm sang "Somewhere My Love," accompanied by Marge Mecham; George Robinson sang "The Lord's Prayer"; and a trio of Deborah Whitesel, Christine Corbridge and Clarica Stocks sang "1 11 Walk With God." The last two numbers wore accompanied by Eleanor Marshall, who also rendered the prelude and postlude music for the services. ; Marshall Hollingshead gave the dedicatory prayer at the Minersville 'Cemetery. The flowers were taken care of by the great-granddaughters and the Minersville Relief Society. |
