Show Private Property Week Observed Governor Scott M. Matheson has declared the week of April 13 to 19 Private Property Week in the State of Utah. The observance, conducted statewide by the Utah Association of REALTORS, will carry the theme "Private Property Rights-Protect them." The Utah Associaiton of REALTORS is the trade association respresenting the real estate industry in Utah. It is composed of some 6,500 members from nine local board of REALTORS. Matheson called the ownership of private property, "A cherished legacy, bequeathed to us by virtue of our forefathers' foresight and wisdom." He said, "Only by sustaining the land and perpetuating our Constitutional rights to it that each of us can continue to enjoy its bounty and ensure the same privileges for (future) generations." Utah Association of REALTORS, Mackey B. Boley of American Fork, Utah said that every local board is encouraged to observe Private Property Week.
