Sponsored by the Newman Club, a Catholic organization at SUSC, fund raising activities will include in-clude the Ugly Man On Campus contest, a raffle, a dance and a rain-or-shine 10 mile walkathon. All proceeds will go to the Cedar City Red Cross organizaiton, Cameron Reid, Red Cross Week Chairman said. Contestants for the UMOC contest must pick up applications ap-plications by April 9 at the SUSC student center. "The contestants will then be photographed wearing their ugly-man apparel and containers will be put-complete put-complete with photographs-around photographs-around campus," Reid said. "Students will cast their votes for the winner, with each vote costing one cent. SUSC's UMOC will be named at the dance Friday , a dance beginning at 8:30 p.m., April 25, in the SUSC large ballroom. Admission to the dance will be $1 per person. |
