Show Fatalities recorded in Parks Monument and Colorado National Monument, each had two visitors die of injuries in-juries received in automobile a accidents. Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, listed two deaths from falls during 1979. Bryce Canyon National ' Park, Utah , and Curecanti National Recreation Area, Colorado, each had one drowning. Canyonlands National Park, Utah and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Monument, Colorado, each had one drowning. Arches National Park, Utah, had one death attributed at-tributed to , an automobile accident. Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, recorded six deaths for the year. Four persons were killed in climbing accidents and a . married couple was killed in a head-on automobile collision. Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah, also recorded six fatalities: five drownings and one as a result of a boating mishap. Four visitors died in Glacier National Park, Montana, including one in an automobile crash and another in a motorcycle accident. There were also two drownings.
