Show . . .,,'' . Jh - James Pack Jay Pack dies at 90 "Jay" James E. Pack, 90, of Vernal, died Sunday, April 4, 1982 in the Ashley Valley Medical Center. Mr. Pack was born in Vernal on Oct. 4, 1891 to George Wilford and Hulda DunsterPack. In June 1913 he married Estella Fern Bills in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. He was a miner, chicken farmer, sheep herder for Siddoways of Vernal, and also worked in the Vernal Flour Mill. He was a member of the Vernal 9th Ward, loved to fish and hunt. Survivors are his wife of Vernal; three daughters and a son, Mrs. Loyd G. (Inez) Henry of Scottsdale, Ariz., Mrs. George (LaRue) Morgan, Mrs. Chester R. (Helen) Burnett, both of . Apple Valley, Calif., and Dee Jay Pack of Vernal; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Funeral services are today, April 8, 1982 at 11 a m. in the Vernal Ninth Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. grave. Pallbearers were Gary Sawyer, Melvin Richens, Bud Richens, Shirley Atwood, Clifton Richens and Gary Barney. Honorary pallbearers were LeGrande Hadlock, Van Hadlock and Tim Hadlock. |
