Show Whiteroclis Zella H. Pike PKooe 353-4600 Whiterocks branch is reorganized All organizations of the Whiterocks Branch were reorganized Sunday. Released from the Relief Society were Carol Helquist, president, with Valois Morrill as work counselor. Sustained were Mary Lynn Hoopes, president, with Bernice Ainge and Zella Pike counselors. Kay Rasmussen as secretary. Released from Primary was Betty Cloward, president, with Lorraine Lor-raine Paulson, counselor. Sustained was Coene Bagley, president, with Cherie Dickey and LaRae Hoopes, Cloyd and Zada Seeley of Bountiful visited Delma Long Friday. The Seeley's are former residents of Whiterocks where Cloyd worked at the fish hatchery. Matt and Virginia Fergensen spent two weeks in St. George and California. Matt played in the mens senior golf tournament in St. George and they visited a son Brian in California. Loren and Zella Pike tended their grandchildren while parents Mr. and Mrs. Ferron Secakuku and Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Pike were in Reno, Nev. to a bowling tournament. The Whiterocks Head Start had a bake sale Saturday under the direction of Connie Pike to raise money for the children to go to the zoo next month. Bill Doug and Julie Hoopes and Loren Released from Young Women's were Mary Lynn Hoopes, president; Valois Morrill was sustained as president with Lee Ann Haslem as counselor.' Edwin Cuch was sustained as superintendent of the Sunday School. An officer's and teacher's meeting was held Tuesday evening in the branch. and Zella Pike also Eldon and Velda Anderton went to Manila Saturday evening to the wedding reception for a niece Debbie Reed and Martin Rose. Tonie Weaver and children of Grand Junction are spending a week here visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hoopes and helping plan the Hoopes reunion which they are in charge of this year. Quinton Hoopes is spending the weekend with his grandparents grand-parents Stanley and Mary Lynn Hoopes. Julie and Joy Lynn Hoopes went skiing ski-ing with a sister Lisa and husband Saturday. Tracy and Camille Pike were in a dance rehearsal Wednesday night at the Lapoint chapel. Their teacher was Dolly Nyberg. |
