Show 4-H needs youth leaders During the past week the 4-H staff has visited each erf the elementaries in I'intah County. The purpose of the visits were to give the young people a better understanding of 4-H and encourage en-courage them to become involved in a 4-H club. In order to provide leadership for these clubs, we need people interested in-terested in becoming 4-H leaders. If you have a hobby or a profession that w ould be of interest to young people in the community, we encourage you to contact the Extension office. We would like to talk with you and get a 4-H club going. 4-H now covers a wide variety of subject areas. We still consider the livestock, cooking and sewing clubs very' important, but have branched to many other activities to involve all interested youth of the county. We now have 4-H manuals in a large variety of subject area, some are as follows: Aerospace, archery, automotive, bee, cat, child care, clothing, creative crafts, dairy, dog. drama, electricity, entomology. Held crops, fishing, food-nutrition, food-nutrition, food preservation, forestry, goats, home beautification, home environment, horse, knitting, leathercraft, photography, poultry, public speaking, rabbits, range management, sheep. shotting education, small engines, snowmobile, swine, tractors, turkey, vegetable gardens, wildlife, woodworking and others. If you are interested in becoming a 4-H 4-H leader, please take the time to stop by the USU Extension office.
