A group of Senior Citizens left Monday on a 9-day trip to Phoenix, Ariz., Easter Pageant and Southern California. They were also going to visit the San Diego Wild Animal Park, Sea World and Disneyland. They also planned to stop in Las Vegas for a dinner show on their return home. There were 130 attending dinner on Monday and enjoying a program presented by the Uintah High School HiLights. The group entertained with several songs that were conducted by Reed Hansen and accompanied by his wife, Julie Hansen. The Ladies Elks Organization has donated $500 to the building of a kitchen for the Center. Darlene Bowden and Myrna Cobbs presented the check to Ralph Siddoway, director. Social Security date for April w ill be held on April 20 at the Job Service Office. Bingo winners for the week were Lorna Holmes with 7 games. Lena Mast with 6 games and Alice Mott with 5 1 games. Also, winner for the month of March was Alice Mott with 22 games ' There was a good crowd at the dance Friday night. Happy Birthday was to 5 Owen Powell. Newcomers were Mr and Mrs. Ralph Fleshman from '., Roosevelt. Bea and Ed Labrum at nounced thier marriage this past week. It was good news to hear Paul Murray' and Woodey Searle are home from the t hospital and doing well. We still have surplus commoditj- cheese for the Senior Citizens.
