Show ORDINANCE NO. 4-5-82 UINTAH COUNTY, UTAH An Ordinance to Regulate the Time period of overnight camping in areas other than designated campgrounds within Uintah County, Utah. In order to promote the health, safety and general welfare of the residents of Uintah County it is hereby prohibited for any person or group of persons to camp overnight in areas other than designated campgrounds for longer than two (2) weeks. Sewage from travel trailers, and other vehicles which have toilet facilities shall not be discharged in any area other than those areas where designated and approved facilities exist for the containment aid of such sewage material. This ordinance shall not preclude or restrict camping or campsites associated with livestock operations nor shall it preclude or restrict camping or campsites associated with oil, gas, or core drilling where the campsite is located on and is a part of the approved ap-proved leased site and drilling operation. This includes timber operations. Violation of this ordinance or-dinance is a misdemeanor and punishable by a $299.00 fine or 30 days in jail. By Order of Uintah County Commission.
