Show McKinney is leading rebounder Former Uintah High School hoop star, Larry McKinney, was the leading rebounder for Boise State in the team's 79 to 73 overtime loss to Weber State, Saturday, in Idaho. McKinney pulled down ten rebounds and scored four points. The top scorer for Boise State ivas Dave Williams at 29 points, and Weber State's number one scorer was David Johnson at 25 points. Weber State had a nine-point lead in the second half, but they lost their advantage ad-vantage and the game was forced into overtime. The Boise State Broncos were down 52 to 43 early in the second half, but they fought back and had a 65 to 63 lead with a minute to play. Richard Smith put in a basket to tie up the game at 65-65, and the Broncos stalled for the final shot, but the two-pointer two-pointer attempt was short with three seconds left. I Uintah graduate, Larry McKinney put Boise State ahead early in the overtime over-time at 67-65 with a quick basket, but the Wildcats poured in seven straight joints to take a 72-67 advantage. Boise State had a chance to cut weber's lead to two points after the Wildcats had missed some free throws, but Dave Williams failed to hit a free throw, and Weber State went onto win the game, 79 to 73.
