Show C Naples Jo Openshaw Phone 789-3157 Ashel Manwaring returns home from LDS hopsital Phillip Manwaring went to Salt Lake City last Tuesday to get his father and mother, Ashel and Elva Manwaring. Ashel has been in the LDS Hospital. Merlin Norton had surgery in the Roosevelt Hospital Friday. Edris Karren returned home Saturday Satur-day from Rangely Colo, after a weeks visit with her son, Lee Karren and fami- iy. Orlo and Mabel Goodrich have a new grandson born to Craig and Kathleen Calder in the Uintah County Hospital. Duane and Vadrus Wall accompanied by Annette Reynolds and baby son, Kevin, went to Salt Lake City last week where Kevin had a medical check up. Doris Merrell came home from the College of Eastern Utah for the weekend with her parents, the Dale Merrclls and family. Boyd and Arva Redden visited Saturday Satur-day with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tanner in Myton and Reva Redden in Upalco. They also attended the wedding reception recep-tion for Mr. and Mrs. Dean Pope in Roosevelt Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Terancc Batty and daughter of Provo visited over the weekend with their parents, the Shirley Prices' and Garth Battys'. Keith Murray accompanied by Kirk Reynolds went to Wayan, Idaho to test a well head for Phillips Petroleum Co. Sunday, returning that night. Dean Pope and Dorothy Houston were married Feb. 2 at Roosevelt followed by a reception in the Roosevelt Vocational Center. Here for the wedding wed-ding and reception were Lonnie and Linda Oaks and sons of Midvulc, Tim and Anita Davis and children of Rangely, Range-ly, Colo, and Mr. and Mrs. Kay Pope and children of Salt Lake City. The Oaks family and the Davis family visiled over the weekend with Iheir mother, Amy Pope. The Wayne Pope family also attended the wedding and reception. |
