Uintah Utes skin Green Eive Wolves 37-15 for Sh- win Tusslers from Uintah High School pocketed their eighth dual meet victory of the year and nabbed their third triumph in a row at Uintah High School when they skinned the Wolves from Green River, Wyoming, 37 to 15, Friday. Fri-day. The victory over Green River improves im-proves Uintah's dual meet record to 8 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie. Uintah acquired a 13-0 lead when Brett Brown, 98; Ron Horrocks, 105 and Foston Chivers, 112, captured victories. Brett Brown gained the only pin in the contest for the Uintah Utes when he pinned pin-ned Frank Duetsch of Green River, with 50 seconds left in the first round. The Utes' Ron Horrocks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first round due to a takedown, and a reversal in the second round gave him a 4-0 advantage. Horrocks Hor-rocks scored a takedown in the final round to win the match with Steve Ortega, 6-1. Foston Chivers blasted Gary Dallman of Green River, 11 to 2, for the Utes' third win in a row. Chivers acquired ac-quired near falls in all three rounds, and came close to pinning Dallman in the first round. Jeff Good of Uintah and John Anastos of Green River were tied at 7-7 after two rounds in the 119 pound encounter. However, Good broke the tie when he gained a one-point escape with 31 seconds left in the contest, but Anastos nabbed a takedown and a two-point near fall with 20 seconds left to win the first match for Green River by the score of 11 to 8. The Wolves picked up their second win in a row to cut Uintah's lead to 13 to 9 when Bill Hodges, 126, pinned Uintah's Uin-tah's Cory McNeill with 29 seconds left in the third round. Green River's Jack Hamel tied up the meet at 13-13 with a 8-0 major decision win over Uintah's 132 pounder, Allen Huber. However, the Uintah Utes collected five wins and a draw to break the tie and topple the Wolves from Green River, Wyoming, by the score of 37 to 15. Matt Hacking received a tough battle bat-tle from sophomore, Mike Hamel, but he toppled the Wyoming tussler, 4-2 in the 138 pound encounter. Hacking nabbed nabb-ed a takedown in the first round for a 2-0 lead, but Hamel pocketed an escape in the second round to narrow Hacking s lead to 2-1. Hacking garnered a reversal rever-sal and Hamel nabbed an escape in the final round to make the final score, Hacking, 4 and Hamel, 2. The Smuin brothers, Randy at 145 pounds and Kay at 155 pounds garnered victories for the Utes. Randy Smuin toppled Dan Mahaffey of Green River 9 to 1 and Kay Smuin blanked Mike Beck, 2-0. Randy nabbed two near falls in the second round and Kay acquired his win- ning points in the second round (W. reversal.
