Show Former Lapoint resident dies Leo James Walker, 83, of Roosevelt, former resident of Lapoint, died Jan. 30, 1980 at his home of natural causes' Born May 25, 1896 in Union, Salt Lake County, to James Lee and Annie Marie Oborn Walker. He married Mary Agnes Foley Sept. 13, 1919 in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada and the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Tem-ple, June 2, 1936. She died March 28, 1979. Survivors include sons and daughters Mrs. Phil (Madge Kathleen) Fillingim, Pensacola, Florida; Leo James Walker Jr., Vernal; Edward Elroy Walker, Lapoint; La-point; Mrs. Marion (Joan Beverly) Morrill, Ogden, Ut.; Keith Alan Walker, Lakewood, Calif.; Dortha Dee McKihinney, Grand Junction, Colo.; Mrs. Jay (Agnes Paulette) Marchent, Yuma, Ariz.; 32 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Stella Scandland, Glenrock, NM; Rose Lund, Salt Lake City; Reed Walker, Lindon, Ut.; and Betty Lund, Midvale, Ut.
