Show Special discount offered to 'fix' pets by vets A $20 discount for spaying and $15 discount for neutering is being offered this week to needy families who wish to have their cat or dog "fixed," announced an-nounced Merridy Johnson, president of the Humane Society of Uintah. This limited offer is provided by the combined forces of the Humane Society of Uintah, the Countryside Veterinary Clinic, owned and operated by Dr. Douglas Murphy and the Ashley Valley Veterinary Clinic, owned and operated by Dr. Ed Oscarson. The three co-sponsors recognize the over-population of cats and dogs in the area, and are making this offer on a limited basis through April. Interested families who wish to take advantage of this offer are asked to use the coupon found at the bottom of this page in the Express. To qualify, the coupons must be sent to the Humane Society. Families will be notified as soon as possible if they qualify for the limited offer. Dogs and female cats must be 6 months or older, and male cats must be 9 months.
