Show Rodney Kendall is BYU graduate Rodney Glen Kendall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl E. Kendall, graduated Friday, April 18 from the Brigham Young University with a BS degree in electronics technology. Commencement Com-mencement exercises were held Friday morning in the Marriott Center and Convocation Exercises in the Joseph Smith Auditorium on Friday afternoon. Rodney was given recognition in the Convocation Exercises as an "outstanding "out-standing student" in the electronics department. He was honored at an awards banquet held prior to graduation, and given an award and calculator in recognition of his leadership, creativity and academic achievement. He was awarded an "Outstanding Student" plaque in 1979. While attending BYU he was the recipient of a Deans scholarship and a department scholarship. Attending his graduation were his wife Anne, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Kendall, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Kendall and Mrs. and Mrs. Coleman McVea. Rodney is married to the former Anne McVea and they live in Orem. She is a medical technologist at Utah Valley Hospital. Rodney has accepted employment em-ployment at National Semiconductors, an electronics firm in Salt Lake City. |
