Show JAP EXCLUSION IS URGED IN RESOLUTION ' ' SSSBBBBS-BeBBBSBSBSBBI SACRAMENTO, "' Cal., March 9. Following Fol-lowing the passage of the bills by Wolfe and Keane, the Senate Committee on Federal Relations , reported a substitute for the resolution Introduced by Senator Sanford protesting against the naturalisation naturali-sation of Japanese, and recommended that it be adopted. The consideration of the resolution was made a special order for today. After calling attention to tho President's message urging a special act to naturalise Japanese, and declaring that this country should first thoroughly Americanize its already large foreign population the resolution continues: "Resolved, By the Senate and Assembly Assem-bly of the State of California, Jointly, that we oppose further Japanese Immigration and favor the extension of the immigration immigra-tion laws so aa to Include Japanese, Koreans Ko-reans and other Asiatic peoples and we hereby urge our Senators and Representatives Represen-tatives In Congress to use all honorable means to secure the passage of such a measure." j - ! , ' i |
