Show WILSON BOOMS IDAHO. George Wilson, who Is one of the best known mining men in Park City, has Juat returned from a trip into Idaho, where he and his brother have a splendid splen-did copper and silver proposition about twenty milen from Gllmore. Wilson brothers have been in that neck of the woods for several years, and on the strength of the rich developments that hsve been made In the Wlmmer ground, ' which Is owned by Salt Lake City men, there Is a great demand for mining ground in that region. The Wlmmer i ' ground Is now sending out about three i cars of high-grade copper ores to the'j - local smelting plants, and In order to reach the railroad station at Dubois, the v ore Is sent overland, which costs $10 a ton. . ' i Wilson says that because of the rich- : ness of the ore In that country, the operators op-erators are prepared to withstand a considerable con-siderable expense for transportation. Borne of ths copper values have been up to 40 and 63 per vent, wklie tl.e silver ' values have run equally as high. Still there Is an opportunity to make a saving, and the Wlmmer company has decided to - put up & smelting plant this spring. It is probable that the company may decide to make the plant large enough to take custom work. If uuch a decision Is reached, it Is Wilson's opinion that there will be considerable activity in that sec-t sec-t " tion of Idaho, as there is a large mineral ' area In that district that has the ore 1 very close to the surface. |
