Show ANOTHER -.WRECK ON COPPER BELT Runaway Train WrecKs Col. E, A. Wall's Mill in Bingham, and Fireman Is Badly Injured. BINGHAM. March 9. As a result of another wreck on the Copper Belt road, about 12:13 o'clock this morning:. Charles Carlson was seriously injured and Col. E. A. Wall's mill was damaged f 10,000. Just above the water tank the engine drawing two cars of ore got beyond the control of Engineer Rawles. The engine overturned and crashed forty-five feet dowiv-the embankment Into the creek bed. Both Rawles and Carlson, the engineer. Jumped. Carlson's shoulder was dislocated and he sustained painful bruises. Rawles, Conductor McCa fiery aTid Brakeman Gilmer Gil-mer were slightly bruised. After the engine had left them the two cars dashed down the grade and crashed into the mill. Most of the machinery in the plant was wrecked. |
