Show PLEAD GUILTY TO ROBBERY CHARGE Humphries ead Wright, Ac-' Ac-' cased of Assaulting EricK Johnson, Bound Over for trial by Judge Diehl. N . Grlffeth Humphries, who was brought back from Glenwood Springs, Colo., yesterday yes-terday by Patrolman C. A. Carlson, appeared ap-peared before Judge Diehl this morning and entered a plea of guilty to the charge of robbery. Humphries waved preliminary prelimi-nary examination and was bound over to the District court in the sum of 1500. As soon as Humphries bad entered his plea Robert Wright asked that he be permitted per-mitted to change his original plea of not guilty to the charge of robbery to that of guilty. Wright waved preliminary examination ex-amination and was bound over to the District Dis-trict court In the sum of $500. Wright and Humphries are alleged to have assaulted Erlck Johnson and robbed him of $4, the night of February 27. The robbery. Is alleged to have taken place In State street, between Fourth and Fifth South street. Not only did the robbers take Johnson's money but they gave him a fearful beating. Wright was arrested In' this city two days after the alleged assault and robbery. rob-bery. Humphries was arrested at Glenwood Glen-wood Springs on Information furnished from this city. |
