The Returned Soldiers' hospital In Vancouver, Van-couver, B. C. will commemorate the names of the Orpheum theater and of Miss Sophie Tucker. During a recent engagement in that city Miss Tucker was conspicuously active in charitable work in behalf of the soldiers, and the ma nage-ment nage-ment of the Orpheum has always shown itself willing and anxious to co-operate in all such affairs. There is a young man who has attracted at-tracted quite a lot. of attention in the east among audcville devotees. He merely strolls on the stage, whistling, sea ts himself at tiie pia no. sines and plays a lit tie. and t hen strolls off. But he does these, things with such finesse that he has become known as "The Aristocratic Aris-tocratic Kntertainer." His name is Leo Beers and he has just been booked for a tour of the Orpheum theaters.
