Show CANNING LESSONS PLANNED FOR WEEK A series of meat canning demonstrations demonstra-tions are to be held under the direction j of the extension division of the Agricultural Agricul-tural college and will be in direct charge of Miss Lucile Lee, county home demonstrator for Salt Lake county, and Miss Hortense White, assistant state leader iD home economics. The purpose of thc.se. meetings is to acquaint the farmers with satisfactory methods of preserving the meat supply for the corning su miner. It is hoped that in this way that the fresh meat which is killed on the farms will not have to be consumed immediately, as is the mual case, but can be conserved for next Minmi'T 's use. ( on-iderable saving sav-ing in meat will be accomplished by the adoption of this system.
