Refreshments concluded the afternoon's after-noon's entertainment. Ten guests were in attendance. Monday evening a large assemblage of the music lovers of Bingham attended a recital given by the students of the Utah Conservatory of Music under the direction of Miss Alice Mahoney at the high school auditorium. The platform was artistically decorated with potted flowers and the national colors. The programme included piano selections by Zella Ward, Gertrude Ger-rans, Ger-rans, Inez Fdstrom. Cecil Greene, Maxlne Ke'Jy, Olive Schoettlin.i Ruth Hoskins, Alt a Crowther, Leila Henrv, Ruth Dye, Ethel Collins, Dot Strigham, May Culle-ton Culle-ton and Inez Stuart, nnd also some vocal selections by Ernest Southwick, who will have charge of the musical work in the schools for the coming term. The faculty of the Bingham schools enjoyed en-joyed a picnic up Mark ham gulch Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, following the . afternoon school session. A "weinle" roast before a blazing cam pf ire, songs and readings formed the notable features of a most delightful evening. Tuesday evening at the rooms of the Red Cross at the Bingham Commercial club a new sewing class was organized, to meet the need of the Red Cross organization organiza-tion in getting the work it has undertaken under-taken accomplished within the required time. A special feature of the evening's entertainment was the singing by Hugh Dougall of Salt Lake of Mrs. Lake s composition, "Salt Lake City, Stop, Look and Stay."
