Show WILL COMPILE LIST OF MEN IN SERVICE University of Utah Alumni Association to Keep Track of Members During Dur-ing trie War. At a meeting of the board of control of the University of Utah Alumni association, as-sociation, held last night, it was decided decid-ed to compile a complete list of all fomier V. of U. students now in any branch of the national service. The intention in-tention is to obtain the names and home addresses of these men and tho military or naval units to which they belong and to keep in touch with them so far as possible during the war. The officers ot the Utah field artillery artil-lery have promised to use every etfort to aid in this work. The Alumni association asso-ciation is anxious to give this matter the widest possible publicity, in order that the list may be made complete. Tho securing of tho names of those in the Utah battery will be comparatively easy, but many old "U" men are in the navy, the officers' reserve, tho ambulance am-bulance corps or the draft army. The association urgently requests that persons per-sons having in any branch of the service serv-ice relatives or friends who have been connected with the university send the particulars 'to the secretary of the association, asso-ciation, address care University of Utah. The Alumni association will have a section in the university building at the coming state fair, where representatives will be in attendance throughout fair week. Full details regarding the Alumni section will be announced later. |
