Owing to a week of cool weather, followed by the present unusually iya.rm spell, the fruit has ripened nearly all at once 'and it has been found impossible to obtain sufficient help to care for it. Director of Farm Products Harvey All-red, All-red, who has been appointed by President Presi-dent Wilson to take charge of the mobilization mobili-zation of young people for patriotic work in Idaho, has made an appeal to the pupils to proceed to the orchards wherever it is possible to do so. Those who volunteer will be organized In groups of ten and a captain selected from each group. The boys will receive the same compensation as adults and this is also true of girls who are able to assist in the work. |
