Dario Resta of London, England, won the International In-ternational .errand prize cup, driving- 403.7 miles in seven hours, seven minutes, fifty-eight fifty-eight seconds. San Francisco, Cal., March 6. The Vanderbilt cup was won bv Dario Resta, who finished the 206 V4 mile's on the exposition expo-sition course in four hours, twenty-seven ninutes and thirty-seven seconds. San Francisco, Cal.. April 4. R. P. Lemat defeated Stanley James in a transcontinental race from New York to the Panama-Pacirtc exposition grounds In 668 hours. Indianapolis. Ind., May SI. The 500-mile 500-mile international automobile race was won by Ralph de Palma in 5.33:55.50, averaging av-eraging S9.S4 miles an hour. Chicago, 111., June 26. Dario Resta won first place in the 500-mile race at the speedway here; time, 5:07:26, a new world's record. In the first 100 miles of the race Porporato made the distance in 1:00:28.03. The 200 miles were made in 2:02:17.67: 300 miles, 3:03:19.17; 400 miles. 4:04:49.98. Chicago, 111.. June 30. A new record rec-ord for twenty-five miles on a half-mile track was made by Arthur Klein, who drove the distance in 33:59. St. Paul, Minn., Sept. 4. The Twin City speedway race of 500 miles was won by Earl Cooper in 5:47:29. Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 9. Barney Oldfield set a record for five miles on a half-mile dirt track at 5:44. Providence, R. I..
