Show FEW PITCHERS COME OUT OF ASSOCIATION 1 American association averages show why; few young pitchers go from that league-to the majors. Most of the grood I pitchers are hurlers who were sent back from the big show. Twelve of the leading fifteen A. A. cjliuekers ' have been in the majors. The hardest to score against, among those in a large number of games, was Earl Tingling, formerly with Cleveland. Brooklyn Brook-lyn and Cincinnati. Other former major leaguers among the fifteen are Conzelman, Leverenz, Lei field, Steele, Toung. C. Young, Hill, Hopper, I Delhi, Ferry, Rhodes and Schardt. |
