George Watson, general manager of the South Hecla, one of the producing j mines of the Aita Cottonwoods, a property prop-erty that has lately been handicapped1 by bail roads and inability to secure i teams, said yesterday that the outlook; was far brighter. The late snowfall has made the use; of sleds in the transportation of ore j practicable, and from now on the management man-agement expects to send dowu at least fifty tons per day of the lead-silver ore that is of good shipping grade. The mine is fully equipped, is working three shifts, and there will be an augmentation, augmenta-tion, rather than a decrease, in tho output out-put during the entire winter, aecordiug to plans of the management. |
