Show IS FOUND GUILTY OF USING COUNTERFEITS Frank A. Critchley was convicted in the federal court yesterday of the charge of passing counterfeit silver dollars. dol-lars. The indictment upon which Critchley Critch-ley was found guilty contained three counts, one of which was dismissed upon the motion of counsel for the defense, one ignored by the jury, and Critchley found guilty upon the third. The defendant de-fendant was remauded until December 2;!, when sentence will be pronounced. Bail was fixed at $2000. The trial of James Fogarty, indicted for a similar offense, will be commenced next Monday. The charge which resulted in Critchley Critch-ley 's conviction was .brought by United States Secret Service Agent Thomas -I. Callaghan, who was the principal witness wit-ness for the government. |
