Show IMPORTANT STRIKE IN LEONORA MINE A letter from A. C. Nebeker. superintendent superin-tendent of the Leonora mine of Beaver county, conveys the information that he has cut the east-west mineral-bearing fissure. This fissure is the one that Mr. Nebeker has been drifting on for the last ninety days. For the last thirty days the miners have been cutting stringers of high-grade ore. which ore has been coming com-ing from the fissure just cut. Mr. Nebeker states that his surveys show them to be vertically under the old slope or workings and 400 feet below them. The superintendent states that the fissure is showing silver, copper and lead. Mr. Nebeker expects to follow this east-west east-west fissure to a cross-fissure running north and south, at which point a large ore body is expected, the north-south fissure being expected in the next sixty feet. |
