Show RICH STRIKE IN THE COPPER METAL Important Developments Add to Fame of the Good Springs District. C. B. Stewart, one of the cliler owners of the Copper Metal property, located in the Good Springs djFtrirt. Nevada, yesterday yes-terday received a letter from W. JO. Jen-son, Jen-son, mining engineer, who writes from the ground that the miners have ;ust opened a body of ore that carries o per cent copper. The ore, of such unusual richness, was opened in a seam and lias widened to about two feet, with every indication of permanencv. It is also stated in the letter of Mr. Jenson that a number of eminent engineers engi-neers who have recently made an examination exami-nation of the properties in the Good Springs district regard the section as one which will, with development, equal the territory in the vicinity of Bishce, Ariz., which is now world famed in the production produc-tion of copper. Mr. Stewart, who is also heavily interested inter-ested in the property of the New Dominion Domin-ion Copper company, located in the same district, said that settlement for three cars of ore that averages $900 per car had just been made at the International smelter smelt-er and that three more were being loaded for shipment. |
