Show SARATOGA CHIP IS GIVEN ILL REPUTE A sinister influence toward inebriety on the part of the supposedly inoffensive Saratoga chip common name, potato chirj was attested yesterday afternoon by a witness for the defense in the hearing hear-ing of John Sem, proprietor of the Im-; Im-; perial cafe, 157 West Second South street, cited before the city commission to show cause why his license should not be revoked re-voked in accordance with the recommendation recommen-dation of J. The case of Sem was taken under advisement, ad-visement, as were two others heard yes- terday. They were those of the Great ; East cafe, M4 West Second South street, Gus PolizoRopoulos, proprietor, and the Minerva cafe, 596 West Second South street, Tom Pete, proprietor.
