Show CLAIM WILD HORSES NUMEROUS IN WEST OMAHA, Neb.. Dec. 19. Testimony intended in-tended to show wild horses were numerous on the government reservation in Coconino Coco-nino county, Ariz., and that they had sold In carload lots for $30 to S75 a head in Omaha and Kansas City, was introduced intro-duced by the defense today in the government's govern-ment's suit against the United States Livestock company and the Omaha Land and Investment company, charged with use of the mails to defraud in sales of Arizona mustangs, by which, it is alleged, al-leged, a million dollars was secured. Government Gov-ernment witnesses testified there were few"er than 4000 wild horses on the reservation, res-ervation, and that most of them were mavericka and belonged to the state and the others were the property of settlers. |
