Show YOUNG WIFE BURIED FROM WINDER WARD Many Friends Pay Final Respect to Mrs. Mary M. Porter, Who Died in Bingham Canyon Sunday. Loving tribute was paid to the memory mem-ory of Mrs. Mary M. Porter, wite ot Francis M. Porter, yesterday afternoon at the Winder ward ehapel of the Mormon Mor-mon church. Mrs. Porter died m Bingham Bing-ham Canyon Sunday after an illness ot a week from leakage of the heart. Among the speakers at the well attended at-tended funeral service wa Uishop .1. A. Cornwall, Arthur Welling and Henry Erickson, all of Winder ward. They dwelt at length on the life ot the young woman, who was 21 years of age at the time of her death and who had lived in Winder ward .until eight 'months ago, when she left with her husband hus-band for Bingham. Mrs. Porter was formerly Miss Mary Jones, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Warner Jones of A mdor ward She was born and reared m the family home on Eleventh East street, between Fifteenth and Sixteenth South streets, and had been prominent m social and church affairs of that part of the CSheyis survived by Francis M. Porter Por-ter her husband, and a three-months-old dkughter. She is also survived by her mother and father and the following brothers and sisters all of whom live at the family home: Evan, Edward Byron, By-ron, Zimpah, Flora, Ivelhe and Thel.na Interment was in the Mill Creek cemeterv, a large number of friends foi-' in;rcr the body to its grave. |
