Show SERVICE HELD FOR JOSEPH PHILLIPS Special to The Tribune. SPANISH FORK. July 3. Nearly 200 peonle from Eureka, including members of the Odd Fellows' lodge No. 12 of Eureka Eu-reka and the K. O. T. M., tent No. 13, of that place, and many prominent citizens, attended the funeral services for Joseph Phillips, held at the City pavilion yesterday yester-day at 2 p. m. Hundreds of friends viewed the remains at the family residence. The local tent. Knights of the Maccabees, numbering about 100, and members of the Odds Fellows' lodge from Eureka and ! of the K. O. T. M. of that place led the 1 procession, carrying the floral offerings, ; which were many and very beautiful. At the pavilion John Morely, head of the Odd Fellows' lodge at Eureka, officiated. offi-ciated. Prayer was offered by Bishop Marinus Larson and two selections were sung by the Third ward choir, led by Mrs. Carbell. Miss Marie Hedqufst of Provo rendered the solo "Resignation." Bishop Marinus Larson made a short address. |
