Show LABOR LEADERS OF BOTH COUNTRIES APPEAL FOR PEACE WASHINGTON. July S An appeal to the government and the people of the United States and Mexico to do everything every-thing possible to avoid war was issued tonight by a joint committee of officials of organized labor in the two countries, which has been in session here at headquarters head-quarters of the American Federation of Labor. It is suggested that a commission commis-sion of .Mexicans and Americans be appointed ap-pointed to adjust existing differences, which are declared due to "misunderstandings "misunder-standings growing out of inadequate or incorrect information." The labor leaders announced that, while they hoped to hold another conference, at which the workers of the two countries coun-tries should be more generally represented, represent-ed, -they had decided to postpone it until the present crisis had passed.
