As the result of a rnfr.ent realty ileal which was handled ffor the Ogden interests by E. O. Wat-:fi Wat-:fi of the Utah Construction company, 'the Vineyard Land & Stock company, composed largely of Ogden capitalists, has acquired the Anderson ranch at the headwaters of the Quinu river in northern north-ern Nevada. The property is to be added to the present holdings of the Vineyard company in Nevada. The purchase of the additional range land and stock thereon is said to have represented a total outlav of about $200,00(1. It includes 13,000 acres of hay and pasture land and 12,000 acres of good range, all of which is located about sixtv-five miles north of Winne-mucca. Winne-mucca. Between 2000 and 3000 head of cattle were transferred to the Ogden oompunv along with the land. During the summer the Vineyard company will transfer about 3000 head of stock from its original holdings north of Wells to the new ranch. Mr. YYattis has announced that A. Hammond has been placed in charge of the Anderson ranch and will employ about fifty men during the season in harvesting 3000 tons of hav which is being erown without artificial irrigation. irriga-tion.
