Show HAWAIIAN VICTIM OF FIRE IS BURIED Grace and Ella, Little Daughters of Peter Kealekahoniui, Attend Funeral Fu-neral of Hapless Fattier. Funeral services for Peter Kealeka-homui, Kealeka-homui, the Hawaiian musician who was burned to death at his home, 631 Xorth Second West street, Saturday night, were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon after-noon at the Joseph William Taylor funeral fu-neral chapel. Interment was "in City cemetery. Among those attending were two little lit-tle daughters of Kealekahomui, Grace and Ella, 10 and 12 years oid. At the time of his death it was believed that he had no relatives in this city, but it was later learned that his two children were in Salt Lake homes. Grace, the younger daughter, is now a member of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Porter, 24 North West Temple Tem-ple street, and Ella is a member of the family of Mathias Nelson, 638 Roose-velt Roose-velt avenue. Both were taken into these families January 23, 1914, when the father realized that he rould not properly eare for them, his wife having died several vears before. Both children chil-dren attend the Lafayette school. I The mother of the two little girls, i now dead, was formerly Misa Parah Evanson. daughter of Mrs. Marv Evan- son of West Portage. Utah, and is said j to have come here from Sweden when a young girl. She was married to i Kealekahomui fifteen rears ago. |
