John Redmond and Ellis Griffith, tho leaders of the Irish and Welsh parties, spoke a few nights ago at Holyhead. Mr. Griffith said that tho two Celtic peoples were united in purpose. The "Welsh, like th Irish .could say that their nationality had survived the suffering suf-fering of centuries. The Welsh and the Irish in the house of commons were working side by side to pass the vetc bill. "The next session of parliament will avail to see both IrlBh home rule and Welsh disestablishment through the house of commons." said Griffith. Mr. Redmond said that the claim for nationality was the same in Wales as In Ireland. The Irish struggled for homo rule, and so much of the homo rule as the Welsh desired for themselves the Irish would aid them In getting with all their hearts. |
